  37. You're lucky (so far).  I had all kinds of trouble with 16mb that went 
  38. away when I upgraded to 32.  Acoording to the threads on Compuserve 
  39. forum for MSVC++, I'm not the only one getting C1001 internal 
  40. compiler errors.

  42. The system also regularly crashes when changing projects.  Again, 
  43. Compuserve forum monitoring shows I'm not alone.

  45. Wait 'till you start building projects of any size.  I'm sure your 
  46. 8mb ram will give you trouble.

  48. I also noticed a big improvement in compile times when upgrading 
  49. from 16 to 32 mb.  Same with another machine in the office.  I  
  50. should think that with 8mb, it's a real dog.  No?
